Sheila’s Home

Brother Tony Daly  first met Pastor Raja and his wife Sunitha in January 2003.  Pastor Raja Jidigu  and a small group of children welcomed Brother Tony at Bapatla railway station at 20 past midnight  with a welcome banner a garland of  flowers . Brother Tony was taken to the “Bhvanna Residency” room 209  where Pastor Raja shared some of his testimony.   A welcome bed brought  torment as mosquitoes enjoyed a feast  at 3 AM

In the morning Tony visited “Sheila’s” Home”  a small rented home where 17 children lived in one small room.  The rent had not been paid for 5 months and Pastor Raj confessed that he had struggled to feed the children one meal a day when often his own wife and children subsisting on a single banana. But they had faith and believed that the Lord would supply all their needs.
At this first visit the  Lord provided a small gift for food for the children.  On return to the UK brother Tony shared the needs for prayer in his church.   Many people were deeply burdened to pray and through this prayer the Lord provided funds for the land to be purchased and for the building of a new home  “Sheila and Barbara’s Home”.
Sheila and Barbara’s Home was built in 2005. Brother Tony Daly was asked to dedicate the home to the Lord and many local pastors came to join the children in a dedication and thanksgiving service.
Happy Homes Tacloban  City Leyte Philippines

Happy Homes is the Home of Pastor William Lerion and his wife Vianney; it is situated just outside Tacloban City on Leyte Island in the Philippines. With a large family of 8 children they struggled to bring them up and care for them. Pastor Lerion was living by faith trusting only in the Lord to supply all the family needs. A group of Christians from Bels Yew Green Chapel in Sussex were praying and sending gifts to support the mission eventually building a wooden house for the family.  Some   later this home became almost derelict as flood waters had damaged the foundations and rotted the floors and walls.

Tony and Sheila Daly were sponsoring a child for some years and after much prayer Pastor Lerion invited Tony to visit the Philippines to preach the Gospel in the villages in Leyte Island.  At that time 2001 there was severe flooding in Tacloban City and on return from a mission tony found the Lerion’s home under water.    After prayer the Lord led Tony to give a small gift for “Higher Ground” that is to purchase some land with a view in future to build a more substantial home.   The Lord blessed and “Happy Homes” was built from gifts given from UK Christians. Happy Homes is not only a family Home but is used as a church building for the many Christians converted under the Lerion’s ministry.
